Cyre’ is an eclectic diverse, passionate and innovative artist from New York whose gifts have been expressed in the music and film making mediums.

She has performed around the globe singing Jazz, Latin and Pop music. Cyré’s music has been heard on films distributed by 20th Century Fox, Paramount, and Orion Pictures. She has performed live and on national television in the U.S., France, Italy, and Israel and represented the United States in International Song Festivals in Cuba and the Dominican Republic.

A Lyricist, composer, producer, poet and filmmaker she is a unique breed of artist who uses all elements of her artistry to  manifest her music and all the visuals associated. Her radically distinctive sound and style has been influenced by the various genres of music she was exposed to, growing up with classic R&B, Jazz standards, Rock, Latin and pop music.

A graduate of Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY, she majored in Science but “enriched her education and soul” by studying music and voice basics at the Mozartina Music Conservatory. After graduating she joined a chart topping Salsoul Records R&B group on tour in France and after  the group broke up, she joined other various groups while developing her singing and recording abilities doing commercial jingles and backgrounds for top R&B and Pop artists at numerous New York recording studios.

While rehearsing with a band at a studio belonging to the Legendary Woodstock singer Richie Havens she gained confidence to pursue her singing dreams when he freaked out with her vocal abilities stating she was “special”!  During that early period of her career she performed in small jazz venues around New York City and sang with the chart topping acts like  “Weeks & Company playing the top nightclubs of the day in NY such as the Paradise Garage, Palladium and Bonds as well as touring France and Italy. After one of these performances at the Funhouse she was approached by a producer to record, what became a top-charting dance song “Last Chance” and flourished as a single recording artist.

This song on Sleeping Bag /Fresh Records peaked at #4 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, #10 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart, and #60 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 8 weeks.

After this tremendous success she experienced the all-to familiar story of an independent  record label refusing to complete her album or let her move on to a major label that wanted to bring her on to further develop what they saw as a “big talent and major recording artist”. At this juncture Cyre” decided to divert her energies and talents to recording for films and working on various projects as an actress and production assistant advancing, after several years, to becoming a producer for films and a major network television program.

She also has hosted the Channel 7 ABC-TV show, “New York Hot Tracks” with former 92-KTU musical director, Carlos De Jesus.

During this period she toured Israel singing Jazz and pop and returned to the States to release a R&B house track “The Life” for Island Records/4th & Broadway and began to write for other artist, such  as Rochelle Fleming’s “Suffer the Consequence” which became  a chart-topping hit song and gay club anthem.

in 2001 Cyre’ was invited to the Pentagon for the September 11th Americas Heroes tribute in Washington, D.C., sharing the stage with Roberta Flack, Mohammed Ali, and Randy Travis where she performed  her specially written tribute song “ See you in Heaven” and performed at New York’s Beacon theatre opening for Spain’s Azucar Moreno.

Having returned to her first love -music she understood she was going to create her own way and take her artistic career into her own hands having learned over the years everything from. Producing to the development and producing of her music video for the first release “ Nothing But You” off of her new debt album: Mystic Life. This album brings together elements of R&B, European Pop, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, and World music. The theme and spiritual essence of Cyre’s music runs through every song and sound; all songs birthed deep from within her creative soul, bringing to life a passionate and romantic message with a hint of Rebel.
